Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026

1. What we collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed password managed by Supabase Auth. When you use Lenselot, we store the coding project data you upload and create, including spreadsheet row data, codebook definitions, and coded labels.

2. How we use your data

Your data is used solely to provide the Lenselot service — storing your projects, enabling you to resume coding sessions, and exporting your results. We do not sell your data to third parties or use it for advertising.

3. Where your data is stored

All project data is stored in a Supabase-hosted PostgreSQL database. Supabase operates data centres in the region selected when your account was provisioned. For current region information, see supabase.com/docs/guides/platform/regions.

4. Data retention

Your account and project data are retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete individual projects at any time from the home screen. To delete your entire account and all associated data, contact us at the address below.

5. Billing

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store card details. Stripe's privacy practices are described at stripe.com/privacy.

6. Error tracking

We use Sentry to collect anonymised error and performance data to help us identify and fix bugs. Sentry may collect information about your browser, operating system, and the actions that preceded an error.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below.

8. Contact

For privacy questions or data deletion requests, email us at privacy@lenselot.com.
